Deposit

A deposit of 50% on the total of the daily rates is required to secure your hunting safari.
The balance is due at the commencement of the hunt. Trophy fees are payable at the end of the hunt and will include animals wounded and lost.

Cancellation

If the hunting safari is cancelled the cancellation fees will be as follows:

• 120 days prior to arrival a 100% refund
• 60 - 119 days prior to arrival a 50% refund
• 30 - 60 days prior to arrival a 20% refund
• Less than 30 days prior to arrival no refund

The client has the right to sell his hunting safari, prior to giving Cheetau Safaris all the necessary information regarding the new client.

Meet and Greet

Clients will be met at OR Tambo Airport (Johannesburg International). After that a 2 and a half hour drive will be taken to Cheetau Game Lodge in the Eastern Free State. The first night will be spent at Cheetau Game Lodge where we will gather and discuss your hunt. The next morning we will be leaving for hunting concession and hunt will begin on arrival.

Hunting rates and packages include:

• The services of a licensed hunter/guide and the use of hunting vehicle and fuel
• Accommodation on hunting areas
• All meals, beverages and alcoholic beverages in moderation
• Trackers, skinners and the necessary field and camp staff
• Laundry service
• Transfer to and from Johannesburg airport
• Field preparation of trophies and delivery to the shipping agent of local taxidermist

Hunting rates and packages exclude:

• Observer rates, trophy and license fees not specified in packages, bait for animals especially when shooting leopards, packing, dipping and shipping of trophies
• Taxidermy
• Air fares
• Gratuities, personal expenses, personal insurance and phone calls
• Hire of rifles and shot guns and ammunition
• Accommodation before and after contracted safari period

Liability

Cheetau Safaris and its entire staff, the hunting outfitter and professional hunters, shall not be liable for any damages, losses and expense suffered by any client as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather conditions, war, strikes, riots or any other cause outside of our control.

Cheetau Safaris and its entire staff, the hunting outfitter and professional hunters, accepts no liability in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to person or property arising out of any act, omission or negligence. The client shall be deemed to have waived, renounced and abandoned any and all right or entitlement which the client may be entitled to under the provisions of the law of the Republic of South Africa for any loss or damage to person or property.

Cheetau Safaris and all its staff, the hunting outfitter and professional hunters, shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of the hunting safari however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of baggage, cancellation or curtailment was caused by the Hunting Outfitters negligence.
